Author Rights and Responsibilities
Authors should review the journal's copyright, licensing, and publication agreement before submission. Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights to submit the work and that any third-party material is appropriately credited and licensed.
- Provide accurate authorship, affiliation, funding, and conflict-of-interest information.
- Ensure that the manuscript is original and that all sources are properly acknowledged.
- Obtain permission where required for third-party material not covered by an applicable exception or license.
- Respect the terms of the license when sharing or reusing published articles.
Open Access and Publication Charges
Open access means that readers can access published articles without subscription or access fees. It does not, by itself, determine whether authors are charged for publication services.
Any applicable submission fee, article processing charge, or publishing support contribution must be disclosed transparently in the journal's separate APC policy. Payment must not guarantee acceptance or influence peer-review outcomes.
View Journal Information ↗Editorial Independence and Research Integrity
Open access does not change the journal's standards for editorial assessment, peer review, research integrity, and publication ethics. Manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's editorial policies and scholarly criteria. Payment or eligibility for a waiver must not determine whether a manuscript is accepted.
Advancing Open Scholarly Communication
JOCSAIC supports the responsible dissemination of scholarly knowledge by providing open access to published research under clearly stated access, copyright, and licensing terms.
