Article Processing Charge
Article Processing Charge (APC)
JOCSAIC is committed to transparent publication charges and accessible scholarly communication. This page explains the submission fee, publication fee, publishing support contribution, and fee waiver policy applicable to authors.
Submission Fee
No fee is charged when authors submit a manuscript.
Publication Fee
The stated publication fee for an accepted manuscript is zero.
Publishing Support
Publishing support contribution stated in the journal's fee information for Indonesian authors.
International APC
No APC is stated for non-Indonesian authors or authors with foreign affiliations.
Important Fee Clarification
The journal's fee information lists a publishing support contribution of IDR 100,000 for Indonesian authors while also listing the publication fee as IDR 0. Authors should be informed clearly whether this contribution is mandatory, optional, or subject to a waiver, and at what stage it applies. Please confirm this distinction before publishing the policy.
What Does the Publishing Support Cover?

Waiver Policy
Authors who experience financial constraints may request a waiver of an applicable publishing support contribution. Requests should be submitted to the editorial office with a brief explanation of the circumstances.
Waiver requests should be assessed fairly and consistently. Editorial decisions on manuscript quality and peer review must remain independent of payment or waiver decisions. A waiver is subject to the journal's confirmed policy and written approval.
Payment and Editorial Independence
- Any applicable charge must be communicated to authors before they submit or make a payment.
- Payment must not guarantee acceptance, favorable peer review, or publication.
- Editorial decisions must be based on scholarly merit, scope, research integrity, and the journal's review process.
- Authors should receive clear instructions on the applicable amount, payment stage, and official payment channel.
- Authors should contact the editorial office if they need clarification about a fee or waiver.
Transparent and Responsible Publishing
JOCSAIC aims to communicate publication charges clearly and support fair, responsible, and accessible scholarly publishing. Financial arrangements do not replace the journal's editorial standards or peer-review requirements.
