Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
Journal of Computer Science Artificial Intelligence and Communications (JOCSAIC) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, transparency, originality, and research integrity.
Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
Screening
The editorial team conducts initial evaluation and similarity checking.
Peer Review
Manuscripts are reviewed through a double-blind process by at least two independent reviewers.
Publication
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and online publication.
Manuscript Screening
Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial assessment focusing on research contribution, originality, relevance to the journal scope, manuscript structure, and language quality. Similarity screening is performed using Turnitin with a maximum similarity threshold of 30%. Manuscripts that fail to meet editorial standards or exceed similarity limits may be rejected before peer review.
Double-Blind Peer Review
JOCSAIC employs a double-blind review model in which reviewers and authors remain anonymous to one another. Each manuscript is evaluated by a minimum of two independent reviewers. Additional reviewers may be assigned when necessary. Editorial decisions are based on reviewer recommendations, scientific merit, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal scope.
Copyediting
Accepted manuscripts proceed to professional copyediting. This stage includes grammar correction, consistency checks, formatting adjustments, reference verification, and compliance with journal publication standards. Authors may be invited to review copyedited files and provide revisions when necessary.
Layout & Production
The Layout Editor prepares publication-ready articles using the journal's standardized design template. Articles are converted into professionally formatted PDF files optimized for online publication, metadata visibility, indexing services, and long-term digital access.
Proofreading
Authors review the final PDF proofs and submit correction requests using annotation tools or the editorial communication channel. All approved corrections are incorporated before publication to ensure accuracy, readability, formatting consistency, and completeness of the final article.
Online Publication
Finalized articles are assigned to a specific volume and issue and become immediately accessible through the journal website. All communication between authors, editors, and reviewers is conducted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to support transparency, documentation, and editorial traceability.
