Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini

These guidelines provide authors with the requirements for preparing and submitting manuscripts to JUPAUD in accordance with the journal's scope, editorial policies, and manuscript format.

Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (JUPAUD) accepts original scholarly manuscripts related to early childhood education. Authors are required to prepare manuscripts using the official JUPAUD manuscript template and follow the manuscript preparation requirements described on this page.

The official template is designed to help authors prepare manuscripts consistently and efficiently for electronic submission and publication.

Authors should use the appropriate official JUPAUD template according to the language of the manuscript.

The manuscript should follow the structure provided in the official JUPAUD template:

10. Introduction

The Introduction should present the research problem, background, state of the art, gap analysis, research objective, and novelty or contribution of the study.

Authors should connect the research problem with current knowledge and relevant previous studies and clearly explain what the present study contributes.

11. Research Methodology

The methodology should explain how the research was conducted and why the selected method was appropriate.

• Research design
• Population, participants, or research targets
• Data collection techniques
• Research instruments and instrument development
• Data analysis techniques
• Research location and duration, where applicable
• Validity or trustworthiness procedures for qualitative research
• Specifications of tools and materials, where applicable

12. Results and Discussion

This section presents the main research findings and interprets them in relation to the research questions, theories, and relevant previous studies.

The discussion should explain the findings, relate them to established knowledge, compare or contrast them with relevant previous studies, and identify the novelty or contribution of the research.

Tables and graphs may be used to clarify the presentation of results and should be appropriately discussed in the manuscript.

13. Tables and Figures

• Table captions should be placed above tables.
• Figure/image captions should be placed below figures.
• Tables and figures must be numbered consistently.
• Every table and figure should be referred to in the manuscript text.
• Figures should use In Line With Text positioning according to the template.
• Provide an explanation or discussion of each table and figure.

14. Conclusion

The Conclusion should summarize the main findings in relation to the research objectives. It should not simply repeat the Results and Discussion section.

The conclusion should emphasize the key findings and present the essence of the research using concise, solution-oriented statements.

15. Acknowledgement

Acknowledgements may be included for research sponsors, funding bodies, institutions, or individuals who provided meaningful assistance during the research or publication process. Acknowledgements should be concise and specific.

16. References

The reference list must follow the requirements specified in the official JUPAUD template.

17. Originality and Research Integrity

• The manuscript must be original and must not have been previously published.
• The manuscript must not be simultaneously submitted to another journal.
• All sources and quotations must be appropriately cited.
• Authors should comply with applicable research ethics requirements.
• Relevant conflicts of interest and funding should be disclosed where applicable.
• Use of artificial intelligence or generative AI should follow the journal's applicable AI policy.

18. Similarity Screening

Submitted manuscripts may undergo similarity and research-integrity screening as part of the editorial process.

Similarity scores are screening indicators and do not by themselves establish plagiarism. The editorial team may evaluate the context of quotations, references, common terminology, methodology, and other legitimate similarities.
