JUPAUD is committed to preserving its published scholarly content and supporting continued access to its academic publications. The journal provides a transparent self-archiving policy and supports long-term digital preservation of the scholarly record.

Jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (JUPAUD) is committed to maintaining the long-term accessibility and preservation of its published scholarly content.

The journal supports digital preservation practices designed to reduce the risk of permanent loss of published articles resulting from technical failure, infrastructure changes, security incidents, or other operational disruptions.

JUPAUD also supports responsible author self-archiving to promote the accessibility, dissemination, and continued availability of published research.

JUPAUD permits authors to deposit and self-archive eligible versions of their articles in appropriate scholarly repositories and academic platforms.

Authors may archive their work without an embargo period, subject to the copyright and licensing terms applicable to the published article.

When depositing or distributing the Published Version of Record, authors are encouraged to acknowledge JUPAUD as the original place of publication.

Repository records should, whenever possible, provide a citation to the official JUPAUD publication and retain the article DOI and official journal URL.

Self-archived copies remain subject to the copyright and licensing terms applicable to the article.

For articles published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license, users may reuse, share, and adapt the material in accordance with the full terms of that license.

Authors and repositories are encouraged to retain the original citation and licensing information when distributing archived copies.

The official JUPAUD website remains the authoritative publication source for articles published by the journal.

Repositories and academic platforms may host copies of the Published Version of Record where permitted by the applicable license. Readers are encouraged to use the official JUPAUD article page and DOI as the authoritative source for citation and publication information.

9. Long-Term Digital Preservation

JUPAUD is committed to maintaining long-term access to its published scholarly record through appropriate digital preservation mechanisms.

The journal seeks to use recognized preservation services and infrastructure capable of preserving scholarly publications beyond the operational life of the journal website.

Where applicable, preservation may be supported through recognized services such as the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), Internet Archive, CLOCKSS, or another appropriate long-term digital preservation service.

10. Publisher-Level Backup and Recovery

JUPAUD maintains appropriate backup procedures for its OJS publication platform and published content.

Backup procedures are intended to reduce the risk of permanent loss resulting from hardware failure, software failure, security incidents, human error, or other operational disruptions.

Where technically feasible, backup copies should be maintained separately from the primary production environment to support recovery and business continuity.

11. Preservation in the Event of Journal Discontinuation

If JUPAUD ceases publication or the publisher is no longer able to operate the journal website, reasonable measures should be taken to preserve the published scholarly record and maintain access to published articles.

Where an external long-term preservation service has been used, preserved content may remain accessible through that service in accordance with its preservation policies.

Persistent article identifiers and links, including DOI information, should be retained as part of the journal's preservation strategy.

12. Persistent Identifiers

JUPAUD uses Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to support persistent identification, citation, discoverability, and long-term access to published articles.

Authors depositing articles in repositories are encouraged to retain the DOI and link to the official JUPAUD article page whenever available.

13. Integrity of the Scholarly Record

Self-archiving does not replace the official editorial record of JUPAUD. The official journal website remains the primary source for the published version and its current publication status.

If an article is subsequently corrected, retracted, or subject to another post-publication editorial action, readers should consult the official JUPAUD article record for the current status.
