JUPEMBA is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its scholarly publications.

Digital Preservation

Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Berdampak (JUPEMBA) is committed to preserving the scholarly content published by the journal and maintaining long-term access to its articles.

JUPEMBA implements the preservation function of the Private LOCKSS Network (PLN) provided through the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) preservation infrastructure. This preservation mechanism is intended to maintain archival copies of journal content and support continued access to scholarly records in the event that the journal website becomes temporarily unavailable.

Published journal content is preserved through the PKP preservation infrastructure to support long-term availability.

Distributed Copies

Preservation through a distributed network reduces dependence on a single web server or hosting environment.

Scholarly Record

The policy supports the preservation of published articles as part of the journal's permanent scholarly record.

Self-Archiving Policy

JUPEMBA permits authors to deposit versions of their articles in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or other appropriate scholarly repositories, subject to the journal's copyright and licensing conditions.

Authors may deposit the following versions of their work:

Permitted Repositories

Authors may deposit their articles in appropriate scholarly repositories, including:

  • institutional repositories of universities or research institutions;
  • subject-specific repositories;
  • national scholarly repositories; and
  • other reputable repositories that support scholarly communication.

National Scholarly Repositories and Discovery Services

JUPEMBA is committed to supporting the dissemination and preservation of its scholarly metadata through appropriate national scholarly infrastructure and discovery services.

Where applicable and subject to the requirements of the relevant services, journal metadata and publication records may be submitted periodically to national scholarly systems, including Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) and relevant Indonesian national research and repository infrastructure.

Author Rights and Responsibilities

Authors who deposit their work are encouraged to:

  • provide the correct article title and author information;
  • include the official article DOI where available;
  • provide a link to the official JUPEMBA article page;
  • retain the original article citation information; and
  • comply with the applicable copyright and licensing conditions.

Version of Record

The version published on the official JUPEMBA website is considered the Version of Record (VoR).

When authors deposit a copy of the published article in a repository, they are encouraged to preserve the article's bibliographic information and DOI so that readers can identify and cite the authoritative published version.

Preservation and Continuity

JUPEMBA's digital archiving policy is intended to reduce the risk of permanent loss of published scholarly content and to support continued access to the journal's academic record over the long term.
