Abstract

Penggunaan gadget yang semakin intensif di kalangan remaja memberikan berbagai manfaat dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran dan komunikasi, namun juga berpotensi menimbulkan dampak negatif apabila tidak disertai dengan pengelolaan yang bijaksana. Rendahnya kesadaran mengenai digital wellbeing dapat meningkatkan risiko kecanduan gadget, gangguan kesehatan fisik dan mental, serta paparan terhadap berbagai ancaman di ruang digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital dan mendorong perilaku penggunaan gadget yang sehat melalui program edukasi Digital Wellbeing bagi siswa SMAN 5 Binjai. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif yang meliputi tahap identifikasi kebutuhan, persiapan, seminar edukasi, workshop praktik penggunaan fitur Digital Wellbeing, simulasi kasus digital, pembuatan poster kampanye "Gadget Sehat", serta evaluasi melalui pre-test, post-test, observasi, dan umpan balik peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa program mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dalam mengelola screen time, memanfaatkan fitur Digital Wellbeing, menjaga keamanan data pribadi, serta menerapkan etika bermedia digital. Partisipasi aktif peserta selama seminar, workshop, dan simulasi menunjukkan tingginya antusiasme terhadap materi yang diberikan. Selain itu, peserta mampu menerapkan pengaturan penggunaan gadget secara lebih sehat dan menghasilkan poster edukasi sebagai media kampanye literasi digital di lingkungan sekolah. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi berbasis sekolah melalui edukasi Digital Wellbeing merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi digital sekaligus membentuk budaya penggunaan teknologi yang lebih sehat dan bertanggung jawab di kalangan remaja.
